Terms of Service

You may use Clause to create, customize, send, sign, and manage agreements for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for the information you add, the people you invite to sign, and confirming that you have the authority to use the service on behalf of yourself or your organization.

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You retain responsibility for your contract content, including its accuracy, completeness, recipients, and any applicable retention obligations.

Templates are starting points only. Laws, signing requirements, and enforceability vary by jurisdiction and situation. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional when you need legal guidance. Clause records the signing activity available within the service, but does not guarantee that an agreement is valid or enforceable in every context.

Paid plans renew on the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can manage or cancel an active subscription from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Do not use Clause to break the law, infringe another person's rights, send unwanted or deceptive requests, distribute malware, impersonate others, or interfere with the service. We may suspend access when needed to protect the service, users, or legal compliance.

We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of Clause. We work to keep the service available, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or events outside our control.
